01 · Strategy & Audit

Marketing strategy that respects your audience.

Most fitness marketing is tactics in search of a strategy. Wrong audience model, borrowed playbook, no theory of why anything works. The output is a constant churn of campaigns and a vague sense that the wins do not compound. They do not, because there is nothing for them to compound on.

What this is

The thinking layer above your tactics.

A strategy is a small set of decisions that make every later tactical decision easier. Who you are for. What promise you are willing to defend. Which channels compound for that promise. What the funnel architecture has to look like to convert that audience.

I work this out with you in writing, grounded in your actual data and customer interviews. Not a template, not a Pinterest-board strategy deck, not a five-pillar framework that fits every business.

The end product is a document that names the constraint your business actually has, the changes that will move it, and the order in which to make them.

Concrete deliverables

Four things I ship under this header.

01

Marketing audit (2 weeks)

Written report. I dig into your ad accounts, analytics, CRM, customer interviews, competitor positioning. The output names the constraint, the wasted spend, and the highest-leverage moves. Most engagements start here even if they continue elsewhere.

02

Positioning and offer architecture

Who you are for, what promise you defend, what offers map to which audience segments. Includes the language tests: do your customers actually use the words you are using to describe yourself?

03

Funnel architecture

End-to-end map of how someone becomes a customer. Where the friction is, what the funnel needs to do per stage, what data has to flow between stages. Implementable by your team or by me.

04

Quarterly strategy partner

If we keep working together, I become a quarterly strategy partner. We review the conversion economics every quarter, decide what to test next, kill what flattened. The unit of decision is the quarter, not the campaign.

When this fits

  • You have an existing audience and real data to work from.
  • You have shipped tactics for a while and the wins do not feel like they compound.
  • Your team executes well but is not sure what to execute on.
  • You can sit with a written diagnosis before reaching for a tactic.

When this does not fit

  • Pre-launch with no data. Strategy without data is guessing in a suit.
  • You want a tactic to deploy this week. The audit takes two weeks.
  • You want a 50-slide deck for a board. I write a working document, not a presentation.
  • Your business is outside fitness, health, or adjacent longevity. Not my niche.
